Organic Rooibos

Product Description

Rooibos, or Red Bush is native to the mountains of Southern Africa. It is not a true tea as a completely different plant to the Camellia sinensis, but is a herbal tea and naturally caffeine-free. It is extremely high in antioxidants and has a refreshing, full-bodied flavour with a sweet finish. The fine, needle-like leaves are chopped, bruised and dried in the traditional style to give the fullest flavour. The infusion is a deep red and its natural sweetness makes it ideal for drinking hot – or iced in the summer.
